In the development of the film industry throughout history, international film festivals have always played an extremely important role. Analyzing the operational models of various types of international film festivals helps us understand the development laws of the film industry. They are not only a platform for showcasing and exchanging film art, but also an important means of global cultural dissemination. The purpose of this book is to review the development process of international film festivals and analyze their organizational structure and operational models. By familiarizing oneself with the evaluation system, standards, impact, and evaluation trends of international film festivals, it comprehensively and deeply explores the future development trends of international film festivals. The first chapter first reviews the origin and development process of international film festivals, and explores the types and characteristics of film festivals; secondly, by analyzing the current situation and development trends of international film festivals, we aim to understand their global influence and future development direction. Chapter 2 focuses on the organizational structure and operational models of international film festivals. Elaborated on the organizational structure and division of responsibilities of the film festival, discussed sponsorship and fundraising methods, and delved into the cultural dissemination and promotion strategies of the film festival, revealing the successful operation of the film festival from various aspects. Chapter 3 provides a detailed study of the evaluation system and standards for international film festivals. Explored the composition and evaluation standards of the evaluation committee, analyzed the evaluation mechanism and award setting, and revealed the internal operation of the film festival evaluation process and result disclosure. In addition, in-depth research was conducted on the evaluation system and standards of the Cannes International Film Festival as an internationally renowned film festival. Chapter 4 explores the impact and evaluation of international film festivals. Analyzed the artistic and cultural value of the film festival, as well as its role in promoting the film industry and promoting cultural exchange and cooperation. Further evaluated the social value and impact of international film festivals, emphasizing their important contribution to promoting social progress and cultural diversity. The final chapter looks forward to the future development trends of international film festivals. On the basis of analyzing the challenges and opportunities faced by film festivals, this paper explores the sustainable development model and globalization trend of international film festivals in the new era.
