Abstract

This paper takes the cross-border wealth management business under the background of global digital economy continuous development as the core research object. This paper sorts out the realistic development foundation and current operation status of the cross-border wealth management industry in the digital economy era, and analyzes the prominent convergence and adaptation problems existing in the current supervision legal framework of the cross-border wealth management field. This paper clarifies the insufficient risk coverage of bilateral financial cooperation treaties, the limitation of relevant clauses in regional economic and trade agreements, and the docking gap between domestic supervision system in China and international prevailing rules. This paper puts forward targeted legal convergence paths and rule construction schemes from bilateral, regional and domestic levels, and the research conclusions provide practical theoretical reference for the risk prevention and control work and supervision cooperation promotion of cross-border wealth management business.
