Abstract

With the sustained expansion of cross-border shipping trade under the Belt and Road Initiative, cross-border shipping insurance business encounters increasingly prominent procedural barriers in the process of cross-border claims settlement. This paper analyzes core procedural barriers under the existing legal framework from bilateral treaty, regional agreement and domestic legal system dimensions, puts forward targeted legal optimization paths, constructs a systematic diversified dispute resolution mechanism, and provides institutional reference for efficient disposal of cross-border shipping insurance claims.
