In the grand process of China's modernization, ceramics, as a dual carrier of material and spiritual civilization, carry rich historical information, cultural connotations and contemporary values. Constructing and spreading the discourse system of Chinese-style modernization ceramic narratives will not only help to deeply explore the profound heritage of ceramic culture but also provide unique and powerful support for the cultural expression and international communication of Chinese-style modernization.

Ceramics occupy a pivotal position in the long history of China and are an important witness to the development of material civilization. From the coarse pottery of primitive society to the hard pottery of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and then to the primitive celadon of the Qin and Han dynasties, the production technology of ceramics has been continuously improved, reflecting the level of development of social productivity at that time. As time went on, during the Tang and Song dynasties, porcelain production reached a peak, and famous kilns such as Xing kiln white porcelain and Yue kiln celadon appeared. Their exquisite porcelain making skills and exquisite products not only met the living needs of the domestic people but also were exported overseas through trade channels such as the Silk Road, becoming an important messenger of economic and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Jingdezhen became the national porcelain production center. Blue and white porcelain, multicolored porcelain, and Famiflle-Rose Porcelain were produced in endless varieties, and the porcelain production process reached a state of perfection. These porcelains are not only unique in shape and decoration but also constantly innovated in firing technology. For example, Jingdezhen's "wood kiln" firing technology can produce porcelain that is as warm as jade and colorful, as shown in Figure 1 below, reflecting the highly developed material civilization at that time.
