The book "Integration of Cross cultural Competence in College English Teaching" aims to explore the integration of cross-cultural competence in college English teaching, systematically analyze the concept of cross-cultural education and its application in English courses. The first chapter will start from the concept of cross-cultural competence, elaborating on the importance of college English teaching, and how to effectively integrate the cultivation of cross-cultural competence into the teaching process. The second chapter focuses on the constituent elements and theoretical basis of cross-cultural competence, explores the current situation of cross-cultural competence among college students, and provides theoretical support for subsequent research. In Chapter 3, we will delve into the development and basic propositions of cross-cultural education concepts, and analyze their specific applications in college English teaching. This section will provide educators with practical thinking and suggestions to help them achieve cross-cultural education goals in actual teaching. Chapter 4 will be refined into four specific courses: listening, speaking, writing, and translation, exploring how to effectively cultivate students' cross-cultural competence in each stage. Finally, Chapter 5 will introduce cross-cultural English teaching Based on different teaching philosophies, especially in the context of Outcome Based Education (OBE), Curriculum Ideology and Politics, and New Liberal Arts, on how to better cultivate cross-cultural competence. This section will provide educators with multiple perspectives to help them find suitable teaching strategies in complex educational environments.
