Introduction

The book "Translation and Dissemination of Chinese Culture" is a specialized exploration of the translation and dissemination of Chinese culture on a global scale. Chapter Four focuses on the translation of Chinese dish names and culinary culture from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. We will conduct an in-depth analysis of cultural differences in translating Chinese dish names into English, as well as the challenges faced in the translation process. In addition, the role of food culture teaching in solving the translation dilemma of Chinese dish names will also be explored. Chapter 5 takes the translation of classics as an example to explore the importance of Chinese cultural dissemination. We will analyze the current status of research on the English translation of Chinese classics from the perspectives of multiple systems theory and digital humanities, as well as the challenges and opportunities of translating Chinese cultural classics from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. Taking the Analects as an example, this article delves into the dissemination and influence of Chinese culture.
