Introduction

This book aims to systematically introduce the theory, practice, and innovation of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine oncology. The book is divided into five chapters, from introduction to innovation and development, with rich content and clear structure. Chapter 1 Introduction provides an overview of the basic concepts, harmfulness, and current research status of diagnosis and treatment methods in oncology, while emphasizing the development and innovation of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine oncology, as well as exploration in teaching. Chapter 2 provides an in-depth analysis of the theory and practice of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Through the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, the correlation between the essence of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types and Western medicine pathophysiology in the mechanism of malignant tumor metastasis has been further revealed. At the same time, the establishment of a Western medicine treatment and traditional Chinese medicine efficacy evaluation system was discussed. The third chapter focuses on the practice of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in oncology: diagnosis and treatment. This article provides a detailed introduction to the methods of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of tumors, the application of tumor diagnosis and treatment and related inorganic nanomaterials, nanomaterials based on the hypoxic microenvironment of tumors, and the analysis of the application of multiple combination therapies in the integration of tumor diagnosis and treatment. Chapter 4 demonstrates the actual effectiveness of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in treating tumors through case studies and analysis. From the study of tumor diagnosis and treatment mechanisms in vascular destruction surgery, to the understanding and treatment of tumor related anemia in traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and to the exploration of integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment for colorectal tumors, all fully demonstrate the advantages and characteristics of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in tumor treatment. Chapter 5 looks forward to the innovation and development of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine oncology. The construction of a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment cloud platform for integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in cancer, innovative teaching attempts, ideological and political education in practical courses, and the construction of medical imaging technology laboratories have provided new directions for the future development of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine research.
