Introduction

This book aims to comprehensively analyze the safety status of drug synthesis experiments in pharmaceutical engineering, and explore corresponding research methods and practices. Firstly, provide an overview of the teaching of drug synthesis experiments in pharmaceutical engineering, and then delve into the safety issues that exist in the experiments. Next, the current situation and problems in laboratory waste treatment, cleaning and safety management of experimental instruments, and experimental safety education were analyzed with emphasis. On this basis, this book constructs a laboratory safety system, including the identification of laboratory safety risk factors, the establishment of laboratory risk assessment models, the construction and practice of laboratory safety management systems, and the construction of laboratory environmental safety and pollution prevention and control systems. In addition, this book also puts forward suggestions for improving laboratory safety management from the aspects of information management and reference to foreign university laboratory safety management experience, and explores the experience and thinking of teaching drug synthesis experiments in pharmaceutical engineering majors.

Through the exposition in this book, the aim is to provide useful reference and inspiration for the safety management of drug synthesis experiments in pharmaceutical engineering, and promote the healthy development of pharmaceutical engineering education. Meanwhile, this book can also provide some reference and inspiration for scholars and researchers in related fields. During the writing process, the latest research achievements and materials in relevant fields both domestically and internationally were collected as much as possible, striving to make this book informative and innovative in its viewpoints. At the same time, it is also well known that there are still many unknown areas that need further exploration and research in the safety management of drug synthesis experiments in pharmaceutical engineering. Therefore, it is hoped that this book can stimulate the interest and enthusiasm of more scholars and practitioners, and jointly promote the progress and development of pharmaceutical engineering education.
