Introduction

Finally, improving reading speed is crucial for learners. Slow reading speed can affect learners' grasp of the overall structure of the article and their ability to capture key information. Therefore, we will share some practical techniques to improve reading speed, such as fast reading, scanning, and skimming, to help students process English reading materials more efficiently.  

The goal of this book is to stimulate innovative thinking among teachers and students by introducing the PBL teaching method and providing strategies to solve reading problems, and to open up a new path for English teaching. We believe that through joint efforts and continuous practice, we can break through the barrier of reading, improve students' English reading ability, and enable them to read and understand English texts more confidently and fluently. May this book provide practical guidance for English teachers and learners, stimulate their interest in English reading, and help them continuously move towards new heights in their language learning journey.
