In the constantly evolving global economic and technological industrial landscape, deepening financial system reform and preventing systemic financial risks are crucial for achieving high-quality economic development. The financialization of physical enterprises and its impact on financial stability have become the focus. This study is based on financial data of listed companies and combines theoretical and empirical analysis to construct a two-way fixed effects model and threshold regression model. It is found that corporate financialization significantly increases financial risks, and financial regulation has a threshold effect on this relationship. Strengthening regulation can inhibit corporate financial investment, promote its return to the real economy, and reduce risks. This constraint effect is more pronounced in non-state-owned enterprises and enterprises with higher equity balance. Corporate financialization affects risks through information disclosure quality and financing constraints. Based on this, enterprises need to allocate financial assets reasonably and prevent risks according to their development status and national policies, while improving governance, maintaining equity balance, ensuring transparency, and responding to regulation; The government should balance the containment of excessive financialization and support for rational activities in financial regulation, formulate unified policies, improve efficiency, develop differentiated strategies, and innovate regulatory methods through technologies such as big data to ensure the development of the real economy.
