Design and Implementation of a Web-Based Information Management System for Construction Projects in Power Companies

Abstract

With the continuous expansion of the scale of infrastructure construction in the power industry, the traditional construction project management model is stretched to its limits in meeting the needs of multi-project collaboration, dynamic control, and efficient decision-making. This paper focuses on the complex situation of construction project management in power companies and the bottlenecks in informatization, and develops and implements a Web-based integrated management system. The system adopts a combination of multi-layer distributed structure and B/S architecture, combines the critical path method, cost control model and quality tracking mechanism, and forms a core module that integrates progress, cost and quality. It uses authority control methods, data standardization and front-end and back-end separation technology to achieve multi-role collaboration and integration of heterogeneous data, and improves the system's expansion and adaptation capabilities. In multiple actual project applications, the system has significantly improved engineering efficiency, quality control capabilities and risk response levels. The research results confirm that the system has shown good promotion value in the information management of power construction projects, and has added technical support for future smart construction and full life cycle management.
