Astragalus Guizhi Wuwu Decoction is a special prescription for treating blood arthralsis in Zhang Zhongjing's Synopsis of the Golden Chamber. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, it has the effects of regulating and nourishing the health, qi and blood.Modern experimental studies have confirmed that it has many effects, such as immune regulation, influence on hemorheology, anti-oxidative damage, promote nerve repair, inhibit inflammation and oxidative stress, etc. The author's instructor and folk traditional Chinese medicine use Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction can often achieve good curative effect, but the relevant experimental studies are few. Therefore, from the perspective of clinical application, we summarize the experience of others in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with this prescription, so as to provide reference for subsequent clinical application and experimental research.
