Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, particularly advances in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), the field of education is undergoing unprecedented transformation. This paper explores the possibilities and challenges associated with creating and utilizing virtual teaching and research laboratories (VTRLs) within the field of English. It analyzes the potential of VTRLs to enhance teaching quality, foster research innovation, and strengthen international cooperation. By comparing the advantages and limitations of traditional and virtual teaching and research environments, this paper proposes strategies and technical requirements for building effective virtual laboratories.
