Abstract

In recent years, in response to the call of the Party Central Committee and the country, schools of all types and levels across the country have carried out different forms and types of Chinese cultural education. The primary school stage, as the enlightenment stage of Chinese traditional culture for young people, is particularly important for the inheritance and development of China's excellent traditional culture. Based on Piaget's theory of children's cognitive development, this study explains the importance and necessity of Chinese traditional cultural education in primary schools. Based on the current situation of Chinese traditional cultural education in primary schools, this study proposes ways to effectively carry out Chinese traditional cultural education activities in primary schools.
